Hello, dear ones -
We're approaching Spring equinox and the half-way point between the solstices. In true Spring form, we've been having winds, extreme temperature changes, and more rain. But the crows are still sassy and silly and I'm grateful no huge tree branches have fallen on the house or cars.
In many old stories and myths, Spring was characterized by battles between the forces of Winter and the forces of Summer. You could also think of this moment as the five card in a tarot deck - the conflict that needs to enter after a period of stillness in order to shake things up and bring what has become almost too stable back to life, before it becomes stagnation.
It's important in these times, when conflict is often used to erase others and in service to greed and dehumanization, to remember that there is a generative form of conflict. That as an energy force, when in service to Aliveness, a healthy fight keeps things moving and strong.
The deep stillness of Winter is over, that's for sure; though she/he hasn't released their full grip quite yet and you can still feel their breath in the wind. Buds and green things are pushing their way up and through the soil.
Sap and Life are rising.
Mid-March Updates:
I had a big breakthrough the other day regarding mapping out what makes for a human-creature life, how it got lost, and how we start to make our way back to it. I shared my new diagrams last Friday during a talk I gave to Cindy and Farris's community over at Energized Living Today. Folks were very excited about them. Expect a new video coming out soon with those! Plus, they'll help me better organize the content coming through in my Living as Creature, Not Machine course...
In the meantime, I'm recording a few videos and preparing for Grounding the Charge on Saturday and Embodying a New Paradigm later this month.
My in-person workshop in Lorton, VA which was supposed to happen earlier this month has been rescheduled for May. I'll let you know when registration is up for that.
And I'm looking forward to attending the Women's Storytelling Festival in Fairfax, VA this weekend. One of the storytellers this year is Liz Wier - a respected elder in the storytelling community who I met in Northern Ireland back in 2023 when I stayed at her hostel and attended her storytelling festival in the Antrim Glens area.

- Integrating After Peak Experiences - How to metabolize expansion after retreats, ceremonies, festivals, or spiritual breakthroughs so your body comes with you.
- Staying Grounded as Intuition Deepens - How the nervous system and physical body interact with intuitive gifts. How to receive more without overwhelming your system.
- Navigating a Charged World - How to remain coherent and resourced while living inside a world that carries intensity.

In honor of Lá Fhéile Pádraig (St. Patrick's Day) - a video from my personal collection. A visit I made to a well in Northern Ireland, associated with Lughnasadh and the cross-quarter harvest-festival in August; though it's also associated with St. Patrick. I sat with the water for a while and then you'll hear me begin singing back to it as I felt moved to. After I made my offering and singing, I continued sitting for a while and did end up seeing a Being, wearing St. Patrick's face, who shared a message with me. I won't share it here as this isn't the appropriate time or context. But perhaps you'll get your own sense of the place through the video. And maybe even your own message...
